NHRA update: Brittany Force released from hospital

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Top Fuel champion Brittany Force, who was injured in crash during the first round of Sunday’s eliminations, was released from hospital after an overnight stay.

John Force Racing issued the following statement on Monday evening:

Reigning Top Fuel world champion Brittany Force was released from the hospital today after a precautionary overnight stay. She shows no lingering effects from injury except for some upper body soreness. Force will continue to recuperate at home.
