Bob Casey played in a European Cup semi-final during his time with London Irish

London Irish chief executive and former club captain Bob Casey is to leave the club at the end of the season.

Dubliner Casey, 38, had a 10-year playing career with the Exiles before retiring in 2012.

He rejoined the club as their operations director in 2014 before becoming chief executive in 2015.

“Now is the time for me to prioritise my wife and our young family and we have decided to return home and be close to family and friends,” he said.
